Huntleigh F. Gilbard

Huntleigh Gilbard is an experienced civil litigator, focusing his practice in the areas of insurance and premise liability defense. Huntleigh’s litigation experience began during his third year of law school where he served as a student practitioner with the Loyola University criminal defense clinic and was tasked with both drafting and arguing pre-trial motions on behalf of his client. Prior to joining TRS in February of 2023, in addition to practicing at a local insurance defense firm for a year and a half, Huntleigh spent over five years at one of the largest Plaintiff personal injury law firms in New Orleans, where he gained valuable trial and motions experience. Spending the majority of his career in the courtroom, Huntleigh has successfully argued dispositive motions throughout the state and is a zealous advocate for his clients.

Huntleigh graduated cum laude from Loyola University New Orleans in 2012 with a degree in political science and obtained his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans in 2015. He is licensed to practice in all North Carolina, South Carolina, and Louisiana State courts.

When he is not working, Huntleigh enjoys spending time with his wife and son, travelling, live music, playing golf, playing guitar, and attending as many Canes games as possible.
