Deborah M. Pezzullo

Deborah (Debbie) Pezzullo joined TRS in June 2024, bringing with her extensive experience across multiple practice areas. Prior to joining the firm, she gained experience through a diverse litigation practice encompassing business litigation, insurance defense litigation, family law, and employment law matters. Debbie now focuses her practice on general civil litigation, insurance defense litigation and coverage analysis, along with estates and trust litigation, and guardianships.

Debbie earned her Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law in December 2019, where she served on both the Moot Court Board and Pro Bono Board, demonstrating her commitment to legal excellence and community service. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from High Point University in May 2017, with a minor in Business Administration, providing her with strong analytical and communication skills that serve her well in legal practice.

Debbie is admitted to practice in all North Carolina State Courts and the United States Federal Court for the Middle District of North Carolina. Her broad litigation background enables her to effectively represent clients across a wide range of complex legal matters, from commercial disputes to sensitive family and estate issues. Her comprehensive experience in both traditional litigation and specialized areas such as guardianships and trust disputes along with her ability to navigate complex procedural requirements assist in supporting her commitment to achieving favorable outcomes and make her a valuable advocate for the firm’s clients.

Outside of the office, Debbie enjoys spending time exploring with her husband, Matt, and corgi, Bailey.
