N. Blane Stanaland
Blane Stanaland, J.D., M.J, has been with TRS LAW since 2015 when he was admitted to the NC Bar. Blane focuses his practice on estate planning, estate administration, corporate formation, corporate succession planning, tax planning, premarital planning, and elder care needs planning. Blane’s career goal is to provide affordable representation to all clients of every wealth level across North Carolina. Blane has spoken to the community groups, at churches, civic meetings, and other locations on a variety of legal and tax topics.
Blane earned both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of North Carolina Greensboro where he was a Bryan Scholar and member of Beta Gamma Sigma. Blane later attended Michigan State University College of Law where he earned a Juris Doctor and Master of Jurisprudence degree. After his higher education ended, Blane returned to Greensboro to work with his father and mentor, Terence B Stanaland. In the years, Blane became involved with the Greensboro Financial Service Advisors Council. Blane has served as the chair or leader of the Young Professionals committee, the Professional Day planning committee, the Membership committee., the Mentorship committee, and he served as the President from 2023-2024.
Blane grew up in Greensboro, and now lives with his wife Sarah, their son, Jack, and their dog, Hudson. In his free time, Blane enjoys doing projects in the yard, hosting bonfires, and spending time with his family.
