Michael D. Holt
Mike is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and is admitted to both the North Carolina State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina. He began his legal career at the Greensboro law firm of Tuggle Duggins & Meschan, where he worked as an associate from 1986 until 1994, when he left to join Teague Rotenstreich.
Mike earned his Bachelor of Arts with Honors from North Carolina State University in 1974, where he was recognized on the Dean’s List from 1970 to 1974. He continued his education at NC State, receiving a Master of Arts degree in 1978 and was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi for academic excellence. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctor with Honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1986.
Over the course of his career, he has gained substantial trial experience in both District and Superior Courts across several Piedmont counties, focusing primarily on personal injury defense and general litigation. Additionally, he has extensive experience negotiating and resolving Workers’ Compensation settlement agreements throughout North Carolina.
